'Escape Plan X'' tried to create a Utopia, based on the abandoned building ''Qianyue Building'' in Taiwan, which provide artist and NGO to build up their studio.

Qianyue Building is a department Store in 1973, which is the important memory for citizen, the contain include store, bar , bowling alley and ice skating. After several fire disaster and the urban expansion, it become the abandoned building in 1997. In two decade before, it became a social issue buch like homeless people live in the building and also some people suicide. Some developer tried to Integrate the property but still failed.Since 2017 to 2021, we manage at least 10 event in Qianyue Building, we invited people to join the events and reimagine the building. 

Due to the  developor intervene the propety unit, the Qianyue Building in nolonger the our base. In 2022, we settle down in Second Market Place to continue our plan, which used to be a colonial period market for Japanese people before WW2.

In 2017, we started the plan X in Qianyue Building, invited artist and NGO to join us and the building became a art village include city farm, graffiti artist, Since then, It became a popular place in Taiwan, many photographer, coser, student and reporter appear in weekends. We also invited local homeless to be our tour guide. Escape Plan X belive ''Business and developer is not the only way to regenerate the abandoned building, but the memory of citizen is.'' Since 2017 to 2021, we manage at least 10 event in Qianyue Building, we invited people to join the events and reimagine the building. After the plan of ''Qianyue Building'', we started the next plan in ''Second Market Place '', which used to be a colonial period market for Japanese people before WW2.

Scince 2022, we already hold the art festival in the the area of the cultural corridor. However, the Hexagonal Building in Second Market Place is now idle. We hope we could manage the Hexagonal Building in Second Market Place in the future, copy oue experience in Qianyue Building again. 

The core team member of Escape Plan X include high school artist teacher Matt, urban regenrator Jason, pharmacist Stan, designer Ting-Yu. We used to be the classmate in high school several years ago. We have the Utopia dream of our city, so we srart our slash lifestyle. We belive bandoned building and in-use bilding is not the binary opposition, citizen have their human right to imagine what would they expect the City will be. So Escape Plan X is a platform for citizen to reimagin the city even join the plan to realize their studio with nonprofit system. In the past 4 years, they're many news report about our plan in Taiwan and also some expert from local university give us some support.
