I am an Italian architect, researcher and educator based in Hong Kong. I have worked on a variety of research-informed design projects in Italy, Spain, Ecuador, India, China and Mongolia focused on participatory design, post-disaster reconstruction, informal settlements, vernacular adaptations and rural-urban transformations. My current research looks at intersectionality and space, in particular into the spatial implications of women's identity. I strongly believe that architectural education and practice should undertake a more collaborative, inclusive and democratic approach to face the current global emergencies.
