An off-the-grid school built with natural materials and using vernacular and sustainable elements.
We build with the community instead of for the community.
We need sponsor for:
-roofing material (ideally "onduline").
-concrete to lay the slabs in the toilets and teachers acoomodation
-toilet features (bowls, sinks, etc)
- PVC pipes for all plumbing works
- nuts, bolts and steel rod.
What we can offer to sponsors is te mentioned them in all our communications as well as in the metal plaque with the list of sponsors at the building.
We could use volunteers to come and help at different stages of the building
We need financial resources to purchase the solar energy systems as well as water filters and water pumps. With this systems we can make sure that the building will have a constant supply of energy, potable water and sewage treatment
The design focuses being affordable, self sustainable, aesthetic and functional
