After a highly competitive Stage I & II reviews, we are thrilled to announce the 15 long-listed projects for GC2025!

Congratulations to all the teams and communities who have demonstrated strong cross-disciplinary collaboration, laid the groundwork for scalable impact, and offered inspiring live labs for learning and building together.

This year, GC2025 received 120 applications from around the world. Of these, 39 projects passed Stage I pre-selection and were published on our website. We were truly impressed by the overall quality of submissions in this edition, making the Stage II review process highly competitive. On June 5, 2025, 15 projects were selected to move forward to the final review phase.

From this long list, five teams will be chosen for the jury award. These teams will join a tailored accelerator program, receiving mentorship from leading experts and institutions—including Ramboll, Elliott Wood, Novo Nordisk, Sheffield University, ArchDaily, and Tamar Ventures. (more to be announced)

Importantly, GC2025 does not offer a cash prize. Instead, the accelerator will support finalists through expert guidance, increased visibility, and strategic networking opposrtunities. We will also partner with the finalists to launch a collective fundraising effort, supporting the long-term impact and implementation of their proposals.

The accelerator will culminate in a two-day architecture festival in Hong Kong, taking place in January 2026.

The final review will be led by our distinguished jury board, chaired by Al Borde, the award-winning architecture studio. The jury will deliberate and select the five finalists, to be announced in early July.
