Sangha is known as the culturale capital of the Dogon. The first school is from 1910 and is made during the French colonial era. Through time the school decayed and became unused. The Foundation Dogon Education convinced the local people to reuse the school. The renovation is done by traditional methods. By using the traditional material loam, the building has got a perfect protection against the sun, thus the climate is cool and comfortable for the students and teachers.
