Sytse
My expertise:
Research on the role of user-building interaction in bonding with the habitat. Action-design in squatter settlements. Architectural design in western countries. See more: http://people.epfl.ch/sytse.demaat

MY AVAILABILITY
I am available for 4 hours per month.
MY GOALS AND MOTIVATIONS
Bridging the gap between architecture and anthropology. In other words: how do humans and buildings interact?
The idea is radical: what can architects learn from informal settlement? What makes user-generated architecture more appropriate than "design"?
